I expected more. The scent is simple and chemical. It sounds more like a decent aftershave lotion rather than a cologne. It lacks the retro style that was present in the earlier versions. It only has a faint echo of the past. The longevity is weak.

The longevity is good, lasting for 7 hours or more, with a decent sillage. Despite being created in 1991, the scent has a very modern feel and can outshine many luxury perfumes. The price is reasonable, and I highly recommend trying this perfume from the well-known fashion house, Iceberg.
The Scent of Life. Intriguing, exhilarating. The perfumer spared tired noses from sniffing the usual Kilian and Creed fragrances, ordering oysters, and suffering from boredom in furs, rolling through fashionable social gatherings in Paris and Milan. He created a fragrance for discerning noses, the scent of real life. A fragrance of smoky cigars and the essence of a man's life. Does the perfume Savauge Elixir remind you of a confident man? What? Our hero is five times more confident. His confidence, as he descends into the subway for work and looks at his fellow commuters, can be measured in billions.
Overall, it is the perfect woody-fougère fragrance for serious men. It won't be the same on "teenagers." It is slightly bitter at the beginning, but in its development, I can detect expensive leather with hints of cedar. Indeed, it is such a fragrance that one can enter a meditative state with, if overdone.
There are practically no analogues, except one: Amouage Opus VII, but the price...

Iceberg Homme opens with a fresh grassy lavender note, blended with sharp and not at all sweet cedar. The floral notes, which play in the background, do not reveal their presence at the very beginning, but soon enough neroli takes center stage. Neroli takes on a leading role in the floral notes that follow. Clove dampens it without excess bitterness, and then jasmine, iris, and hyacinth blend together in a bouquet, with freesia playing in the background, keeping it light and green without becoming too heavy. The clove bitterness starts to rise through the floral notes and further enhances its pleasantness.
In the end, the floral notes fade away, and the base of patchouli and amber emerges - in the dry down, this sweet and warm scent is present in a non-trivial way, and oakmoss becomes noticeable. Oakmoss, in my opinion, is a more prominent note in the end, although all the other notes come and go like a fragrance brought by the changing wind on a walk through a grassy field.
The perfume is reminiscent of the first Kenzo fragrance for men and Lauder Pleasures For Men. It is excellent, loud, and still wearable in 2023, which is quite rare today. Some people may say that it is more suitable for summer. It evokes a bygone era when even a relatively simple, unpretentious, and inexpensive fragrance could smell so good and last so long that a few sprays would be enough for a whole day.

- If you are not mature enough (under 35), stay away from this.
- If you have just started your journey into the world of men's perfumery, stay away from this.
- If you belong to the type of people who dress like "π"-geeks, stay away from this.

I bought a 50ml bottle to try it out, and at first, I was unpleasantly surprised by its overly sweet and cloying scent. However, after an hour, the perfume revealed a pleasant leathery and mossy aroma, with a hint of tobacco and a touch of sweetness. Despite its respectable age, this Iceberg Homme fragrance sounds quite modern, but not cheaply or loudly. It has average longevity and a moderate sillage, but for the price, it is simply a great find. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy tobacco, leather, and moss in a perfume. I would also like to mention that this fragrance is not at all "old-fashioned" and is suitable for those aged 30 and above. Overall, it is very impressive. P.S.
