Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Eau de Toilette

I have tried many times to buy something else, but I always come back to this scent. If you buy the original, the aroma unfolds with a luxurious trail. It is moderately sweet, multifaceted, and attention-grabbing.

This fragrance is very heavy and sticky. It feels like you've been put in a jar of honey, covered with orchid nectar, and sealed shut. It sticks to you everywhere and it's impossible to get rid of. It's suffocating, even when you're outside; it lingers and stays close to you; it's very loud. I had DKNY Nectar Love, a cute little bottle with a bee on the cap. I bought it as soon as it came out because I liked it so much in the store. I thought it would be a tasty summer fragrance, but I couldn't stand wearing it - I was so happy when I sold it. I thought I wouldn't find anything worse, but then I found, or rather, was given, this. It's not perfume, it's some kind of curse. Honey, orchid, cinnamon, orange blossom, and a bunch of other sickeningly sweet and synthetic notes that give me a headache.

They are not fresh at all. Firstly, there is a bouquet of flowers, then honey, but the flowers are not fresh, they seem more like dried flowers and something medicinal. It's the star anise that gives it away, sweet and with a distant retro vibe, like a dream of retired school principals.

I received these perfumes as a gift from abroad, and they are original. I didn't purchase them here, but I still want to leave a photo of the empty bottle. I also want to mention that the perfumes have a very spicy scent with a fresh undertone.

I have known this perfume since the 90s, and I still frequently buy it, although it turns out that I buy it abroad. The most important thing is that, while it may be considered retro by some, men of all times go crazy for this scent. Many people ask me, "What perfume is that?!" It's a really cool scent.

Secondly, the scent is exquisite and truly reminiscent of Poeme, although Poeme reveals more of a forest lily of the valley and lilac scent on me, while Classic has a sweet pear note. Thank you!

By the way, I never would have thought, but I agree with the previous review - it's retro. I am baffled.
I started with Classic Intense - and I actually liked it. But over time, it became so sweet that it was impossible. Okay, I tried Classic X-Collection - not bad, but somehow unclear.
Then I thought, why beat around the bush, I should try Classic - especially since many reviews often mention that it is similar to Intense, just not as intense.
Well, it's nothing like it. Yes, it's sweet, yes, it's floral. But it's also like my grandmother's dressing table (at least, that's what my skin chemistry tells me).
I don't mind remembering my grandma, but not when I'm sniffing my perfume. It's like I close my eyes and see her old-fashioned Soviet dressing table with jars and endearing little bottles. I didn't expect such a letdown.

I did not like them at all. I bought them based on the reviews and once again, I was disappointed. The scent is very old-fashioned, sharp, and overpowering. You can use the bottle as a figurine on a table, that's the only calming aspect for me.

I can't even imagine what a magical woman Jean Paul's grandmother must have been if this incredible fragrance was created in her honor! It's pure magic and allure... There are no words... I have been using this scent for 20 years now and I will never stop. I always have it, and as soon as it runs out, I immediately buy more. The bath line is always there too. The cream, by the way, moisturizes the skin wonderfully and adds an extra touch for an evening out, as it contains a subtle pink shimmer. I assure you, if you become friends with this fragrance and understand its beauty, all men will be at your feet! 100% proven)))
