Cacharel Lou was crafted by the French house Cacharel, inspired by the classic silent film of the 1930s, "Pandora’s Box." The perfumers aimed to capture the fatal and devilish beauty of the heroine named Loulou, portrayed by the remarkable Louise Brooks.
The uniqueness of Ms. Brooks' role lies in the fact that the heroine had to combine the features of innocent young beauty with the power of a femme fatale, toying with inexperienced men. To achieve a worthy result, they skillfully blended various oriental and floral scents. The initial chord instantly captivates with an inexpressible maneuver, where floral-fruity notes of plum and blackcurrant blend with the classic notes of violet and oriental anise.
The heart note exudes magnetism, contrasting orange blossom, iris, tuberose, and ylang-ylang. In the last 20 years, I don't even know what number bottle of these perfumes I have purchased, maybe the fifth or sixth.
I really like them! It's not just a fresh scent, it's magical potion! I have quite a large collection of different perfumes, some of them being popular, but Lulu is probably with me forever))) It reminds me a little of the classic Poison by Dior, but Lulu is more delicate, without a poisonous trail. Although I don't like to categorize perfumes by age, Lulu is definitely for mature women, not for young girls.
Just picked it up. Sprayed it. Gives off a beautiful mimosa scent. Looking forward to more :)
Dense and rich aroma, far from ordinary. Just one application on the hair and it will last almost the whole day. The fragrance unfolds and seems to change after application.

As time goes by, the scent becomes more calming, and hints of vanilla start to emerge. It's a very interesting perfume, I recommend giving it a try. It will last for a long time since you don't need to apply a lot.
My Lou Lou has arrived... Well, what can I say... I was expecting more... It has a very subtle scent. Not a trace of sweetness. Out of all the reviews I've read, I can agree that there is a hint of lipstick smell, but not modern, more like some bitter times, with fruity-caramel undertones. Something reminiscent of the classic Poison fragrance pops up. But it's just a single note and it's hard to catch that resemblance. Poison is much louder and smoother. At the beginning, it reminds me of dry watercolor paints. I think you can confidently apply three sprays. Mine is still quite young - produced in April. Maybe it will mature and strengthen, and become louder?)))

It needs some time to settle, and then it can be worn in public. It has a unique, resinous-plum, smoky and tuberose scent. It has an old-school aroma, reminiscent of the classic Poison by Christian Dior, although in a distant way. It is intense, without cloying sweetness, but it evokes a Christmas atmosphere.

I finished the sample in two weeks and realized that I kept choosing it as my daily scent. I ended up buying a full bottle. I can't really distinguish the top notes, as the scent is very cohesive and blended. In the base, there's a mix of frankincense, a delicate powdery scent, and a creamy undertone. After reading many reviews, I wanted and feared to order myself Lu Lu, expecting an incredibly loud aroma and incredible longevity. Lu Lu reminds me of both Poison and Poeme simultaneously, but she is so quiet, too delicate - I spray it four times, and others can't hear anything! And where is the promised sillage? I wanted it so much. Overall, I don't know what's wrong with my Lu Lu, but for now, I'll let it defend itself.
