This is a fragrance from the East, but in an Italian style and with an Italian accent. The scent is truly masculine, ladies, don't even think about getting it for yourself, it is a masculine woody-floral fragrance. Very beautiful sandalwood with frankincense and jasmine, resinous notes given by patchouli and leather, so beautiful and brutal. There are not many flowers here, and I can hardly detect them, but leather with woody notes is my passion in men's fragrances. I bought it for myself, but I will give it to my husband, it suits him very well, and I am infinitely happy that I found a men's fragrance that both my husband and I love!
Villoresi has been creating Alamut for 6 years, it is not like luxury brands that release a "new" fragrance every three months with each new clothing collection, using mega-stars in their advertising campaigns and selling with great success and huge profit. For many years, I haven't liked any luxury men's fragrance, they all seem fake. Villoresi is the number one perfumer in Italy! He only uses natural essences and oils, which is why he creates works of perfumery art. And he was born in Florence, the center of the world of art!
Bravo, Maestro! This is a masterpiece among men's fragrances!
For me, this is the Opium line by Yves Saint Laurent. Frankincense, delicate flowers, an exquisite Eastern fragrance.
