I am currently using topical retinoids for treatment, and this has become my favorite gel. It doesn't tighten or irritate the skin and provides a matte finish. Unfortunately, my skin tends to get oily after about half an hour. The main purpose of the gel is to cleanse the skin. So, while it won't perform miracles, it's perfect for topical therapy and gentle cleansing.
