Helicobacter pylori infection is very common. It is known that H. pylori is the cause of approximately 80% of stomach ulcer cases and 90% of duodenal ulcer cases.
Helicobacter pylori is detected in 90% of patients with stomach ulcers.
The presence of highly pathogenic strains of Helicobacter pylori (HP), which colonize the surface of the stomach or intestinal epithelium, can lead to chronic gastritis, potentially resulting in ulceration and even cancer.
Currently, 90% of patients suffering from stomach ulcers are diagnosed with HP infection. Accurate diagnosis, including testing for Helicobacter pylori, allows for the detection of the bacteria and the initiation of effective antibiotic therapy to completely eradicate the pathogen. During the infection, the immune system produces specific antibodies against the bacteria. Detecting circulating immunoglobulins is the most effective method for diagnosing the infection.

1. Preparing the Kit: Remove all test components from the packaging. Then, tear open the aluminum sachet and take out the test strip and the blood collection pipette. Prepare the lancet without touching the release button: twist the gray cap until you feel it detach from the lancet—do not pull! Continue twisting (2-3 turns), then remove and discard the gray cap.
2. Performing the Test: Use the lancet to obtain a drop of blood. Collect the blood with the pipette (do not squeeze the bulb of the pipette!). Place the tip of the pipette against the blood drop, allowing it to freely move up the pipette line. Transfer the collected blood to the sample well on the test strip and add the diluent.
3. Reading the Result: After 10 minutes, read the test result according to the instructions provided.
