I am once again convinced that I do not recommend buying unfamiliar perfume based on comments. The scent is neither feminine nor unisex at all. It smells like an older man, maybe around 55 years old. So I will give it to my father if he likes it...

This fragrance, despite being from 1985, has a modern sound. You can feel it in the ingredients. It has a contemporary gourmet scent. Try applying it to a cotton pad and placing it in the room, then smell the trail from a distance - it has absolutely nothing to do with the 80s. You can find a similar sound in modern niche fragrances. I can easily imagine it on a man who wears sweet scents. I purchased the 30ml size.

I will supplement my review from a year ago because I am amazed by the transformations in the sound of Obsession. I rarely used it, it sat for almost a year, not that I didn't like it, but I didn't feel any special love for it, just a festive, spicy-vanilla scent. Now, in the heat of +30 degrees and humidity like in the jungle, when applied spontaneously, it revealed something unimaginable: crushed fresh grass, ripe leaves, pine needles, coriander, cardamom, spicy-basil, all seasoned with vanilla, not overly sweet, and with a background of oak - probably the bark. If you listen carefully, there are some animal notes, in this case - pure cat fur. Sensual, languid, deep, impossible to get enough of, I spray it at home and enjoy it. Whether it's the temperature or the year of aging, I don't know, but I'm considering getting a second bottle. I'm writing this so that those who didn't like it immediately can take their time. Just like me.

And there is incense, lots of incense... it's mine! That's why another bottle of this enchanting potion is on its way to me.

Oh, it's amazing! At first, when I received the package (it was coming from the EU), I was disappointed.... where is the oriental scent? Where is the depth and spices???? Only one green note, wilted grass (I guess these are the green notes mentioned in the pyramid). But once it warmed up and settled.... it was just something else! A miraculous blend of spices and oriental notes! Exactly what I was looking for, no overwhelming sweetness, no peaches/watermelons and such! The wilted autumn grass is still there))) but it has been enriched with other notes and it all came together in a perfume masterpiece! Pure bliss! The longevity and sillage are some of the best in my perfume collection.

I received Obsession on January 4th, but only now have I decided to write a review - this fragrance needs to be "worn and understood", if I may say so - it is not easy...
