For a pigmented base, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of Rubber Base Gel or Quick Base using rubbing motions, followed by curing for 30 seconds under an LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. It is also recommended to apply a single layer of the base with gentle (minimal) leveling of the nail plate if needed. In this case, curing should be done for 90-120 seconds.
I have the entire series of reflective bases, but my absolute favorite is the black base. Finally, it's the perfect black pigment that doesn't show through, doesn't look stained or gray, but is truly a deep, rich black with a convenient consistency. I highly recommend it! Just keep in mind that due to its pigmentation, it might not dry well under older or weaker lamps.
