Reviews about Essence The Slim Stick
Hello, I would like to leave a review about the "long-lasting" lipstick. Unfortunately, it's just an ordinary lipstick and doesn't last at all after eating. It applies nicely, and I liked the colors, but it isn't long-lasting at all. If durability is important to you, you'll be disappointed, just like I was.
I purchased shade 104, though not from this store, and the manufacturer is listed as PRC on the packaging. There are no streaks or patches. The finish is not completely matte, but something in between matte and satin.
This product is quite nice. It stays on the lips for about 3-4 hours. The finish is neither too shiny nor completely matte, rather it has a satin-like texture. The texture is pleasant, although sometimes there are small bumps, but they can easily be removed with a dry tissue from the surface of the lipstick. The shade 103 is a beautiful pink, while 202 is a dark red.
The shade is okay, but when it comes to the texture... It's awful. There are lumps everywhere, and it clumps up like crazy. However, the texture feels nice when swatched on the hand, but when applied to the lips, it feels like there's sand in the actual lipstick.
