The fragrance of the Don't Ask Me Permission perfume by Simone Andreoli combines sweet candor with Oriental charm. It is crafted to provoke and captivate. This composition is inspired by the exhilarating atmosphere of the Rio Carnival, where passion and boundless energy reign supreme. Simone Andreoli doesn't ask for permission to embrace freedom—he creates it, embodying the spirit of effortless joy that envelops you from the very first notes. This is a scent for men and women who relish being the center of admiring glances.
From the very first moments, the composition immerses you in a citrus whirlwind of lime and sweet orange. This duo exudes a sense of freshness, gently sweetened by a delicate hint of sugar.
The heart of the fragrance unfolds with the exotic allure of the tropics. Here, passion fruit and juicy peach merge into a velvety delight, complemented by floral accords of heliotrope and ylang-ylang.
The final notes are a sensual dance of white musk, sandalwood, and amber, creating an enticing trail. The wood adds a creamy spiciness, the musk captivates with its softness, and the gray amber introduces a touch of seductive tartness.
I absolutely love this perfume. Compared to others like Megamare and Kirke, this one has incredible longevity. I first tried it at a chain perfume store, liked it on a blotter, applied it on myself, and went for a walk. Long story short, I could smell it on me for three days, and on my clothes for about a week. The most interesting part was when relatives visited us that evening and asked about the pleasant scent in the apartment. That's when I knew I needed it. As for the fragrance itself, it's sweet but not overly so. It smells like tangy fruits mixed with something sweet, followed by a hint of musk. However, unlike Kirke and similar perfumes, the musk isn't overwhelming. I’m not great at describing scents by their notes, but this one is wonderful. I wouldn't recommend buying it blindly due to its high cost, but I think many people, especially those who enjoy long-lasting, sweet but unique perfumes, will love it.
