The foam is great. It cleans well and leaves a pleasant feeling afterward. The skin doesn't feel dry or tight—just nicely cleansed.
I bought this product as part of a set with a cream and a salicylic acid serum. I liked it, but I generally enjoy almost all the products I've used from The Ordinary. It cleans well and removes makeup, even mascara (though I don't use waterproof mascara, so I'm not sure about that). Sometimes, I leave it on my face for a few minutes for a deeper clean, and my skin reacts normally. My skin tends to be oily and prone to breakouts, with visible pores and redness. After washing, my face looks brighter and my skin feels firmer. It might be a bit drying, so I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin. The only downside is the combination of its rather runny consistency and the packaging, which makes it tricky not to pour out half the tube at once. A bottle with a pump dispenser would be more convenient for this consistency. I ordered the full-size version.
