Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Parfum is the new, more intense interpretation of the original Acqua Di Gio. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas, the renowned perfumer whose notable creations include such iconic fragrances as Calvin Klein CK One, Bvlgari Le Gemme Rubinia and Marc Jacobs Daisy. The fragrance is housed in the elegant sleek black bottle, with its gradient black hue perfectly capturing the essence of masculine luxury.
The olfactory pyramid of Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Parfum:
Top notes open with a blend of zingy bergamot and elegant geranium, adding a touch of freshness to the fragrance.
Heart notes reveal rosemary and ginger, creating a beautiful balance between spiciness and aquatic allure.
Base notes wrap up the fragrance with clary sage and olibanum, leaving a lasting impression on those who encounter its enchanting aroma.
This men's fragrance is wonderful and long-lasting. Thank you, MakeUp, for the gift! I highly recommend using the site to create positive experiences.
I bought it because it closely resembles Profumo (100ml version from 2024 with a magnetic cap). It's a bit softer, perhaps with less incense in this version, but it's no less appealing. This is a lighter version of Profumo. It's more floral, yet still maintains its masculinity. On my skin, it lasts up to 6 hours, with a subtle yet noticeable trail.
I just received the 2024 reformulated bottle with a magnetic cap (100 ml). It's slightly lighter than Profumo, but for the average person, the difference is negligible. The scent is almost identical. You wouldn't say they've changed it much from the original (Acqua di Gio Limited Edition by Cosmair France, which cost 249 euros for 100 ml in 2012).
This is definitely the best summer fragrance I've ever experienced, which is why I got it in the first place. Since there seems to have been a reformulation since last year, I should clarify that I have the 100 ml bottle with a magnetic cap, and it smells really good, with a nice balance of marine and herbal notes. The sillage is quite decent, and the longevity is excellent, lasting throughout a warm day.
My only complaints are the price and the strange atomizer on my bottle, though this might not be the case for others. Overall, it's the perfect scent for hot summer days.
Great scent. The frankincense is noticeable but not as strong as in Profumo. In my opinion, this fragrance is something in between Profumo and the original Acqua. For me, it's a five out of five.
People say that this fragrance is 90% similar to the amazing Profumo, which is no longer available for purchase. They assure us that it is just as long-lasting as well. As soon as the price becomes reasonable over time, I will order it.
