Hibiscus has traditionally been used for a variety of hair issues, including hair loss. Hibiscus also acts as an acidifier for henna. Adding it to henna helps achieve violet shades in the hair.

It is recommended to use approximately 10 g of hibiscus powder with 70 g of henna (Lawsonia Innermis). Mix the powder with warm water until you achieve a thick, mask-like consistency. Cover and let it sit for 2 hours. Evenly apply the coloring mask to clean hair. Leave it on for 2-3 hours, then rinse thoroughly with water.
