Dior Forever Skin Correct Creamy Camouflage Concealer

I placed an order from the EU on February 15, and as of March 1, I still haven't received it. No one called or apologized. The package was registered in Poland, but it was never delivered to Ukraine. I reordered it with local delivery in Ukraine, and it arrived the next day. I give the service and customer approach a rating of 0, but the concealer itself deserves a 5. It's a great product with no issues.

Ladies, I want to warn you about wasting your money and time. This concealer has issues with the applicator. I ordered it from a website and used it infrequently. After some time, the tip got stuck inside when I opened it. I contacted their support team through the website, and they told me that returns or exchanges are only possible if the defect is reported immediately after purchase and the packaging is intact. They also mentioned that I needed to contact them within 14 days of receiving the product, but that period had already passed for me.

Later, I saw similar reviews on the Brocard website about the poor packaging of the Dior Forever Skin Correct. Like me, another customer had the tip stuck inside. Brocard's support responded to that review, stating that the manufacturer guarantees the product's quality throughout its shelf life and that it might be a manufacturing defect. They were willing to help resolve the issue.

I reached out to Makeup's support again, sharing a screenshot from Brocard, realizing this wasn't an isolated incident. Out of six reviews, three mentioned the faulty applicator. However, I received the same response that the 14-day period had expired. I then called Brocard to find out how they handle such issues, and they told me they offer replacements. My desire to order from Makeup has completely vanished.

This is the best concealer I've ever used. I'm 34 with combination skin that's oily in the T-zone and dry around the edges. Plus, I have very thin skin under my eyes, so I always have dark circles. This concealer perfectly covers the dark circles and creates a second-skin effect. It also does a great job of covering post-acne marks, even on dry skin after peeling. Just make sure to choose the right shade and apply it with your finger using a tapping motion. It's quite pigmented, and if your skin is dry, it might highlight dry patches—just like any concealer would in that situation. The application technique is important here. The only downside is that it oxidizes a little, but it's not a big issue unless your skin is very fair. I have a neutral undertone and usually go for ivory shades. I use shade 0.5N, which is slightly too dark, so 0N might have been a better match.

As for the product itself, I have no complaints.

If you have thin, combination, or especially dry skin and are over 35, this product is definitely not for you. It turns moisturized skin into parchment in seconds, adds years to your appearance, and highlights texture and creases with a surprisingly horrible effect. I tried mixing it with other products, but it ruined the look every time. I can't understand how some people are thrilled with it. Maybe it works if you have oily skin that's as tight as a drum. I'm shocked by this product from my favorite brand, Dior. It’s strange who it's intended for and why there’s no warning about how much it dries out the skin. It goes on like a clay mask. Definitely test it in-store first.

This concealer didn't work well with most powders I tried; they all ended up caking and oxidizing, which was disappointing as I expected better results. After numerous attempts, I finally found a couple of powders that didn't cause this issue with the concealer. Additionally, it has an unpleasant smell and is water-based, so I'm giving it 3 stars.

The concealer oxidizes quite noticeably. I got the shade 2N, but it tends to turn yellow. I wouldn't call it neutral. It's a shame that the shade didn't match. Also, for this price, I expected something more. In reality, Maybelline Fit Me performs just the same. I recommend trying it out in a physical store before buying.

The scent is like Dior perfume, pleasant creamy texture, spreads very nicely. The concealer is terrible! It clogs into wrinkles and dries, emphasizing all imperfections. It is quite thick, maybe suitable for covering flaws, but not for under the eyes. I regret buying it. I didn't buy it here. Shade 1.5. As soon as I applied it, I liked it, but after a while (about an hour), I was disappointed. I expected a "wow" effect, considering how popular this product is, but it creases around the eyes and feels drying. Maybelline and NYX work much better, proven over the years. It's not worth the extra money... It's possible that my skin type doesn't react well to this product, but I won't be categorical. However, the conclusion is that not everything and not everyone can use it. Try a tester somewhere before buying.
