Maurer & Wirtz 4711 Original Eau de Cologne Eau de Cologne

This perfume is wonderful. I bought it mainly for the collection, as it comes in a beautiful 25ml bottle. It's a shame that it doesn't come with a sprayer. The longevity is weak, especially if you wear it actively, so it's better to get a larger volume. The scent has beautiful orange flowers. For me, it represents the freshness of the morning and dew. I don't wear it often, but I regularly enjoy its scent.

I placed the order on the 12th and received it yesterday, the 19th. I understand how we fit into the specified "3-5" _working_ days (out of the 7 delivery days, 2 are weekends, although Nova Poshta is working), but this is only okay for attentive buyers. Most people will just see "3-5 days" and then have problems. Why not write "delivery in 5-7 days"? Okay, in this case, I had a couple of extra days, but what if someone is leaving? Or if the order is needed for a specific date, like a birthday? Delivery in Ukraine is currently efficient, so there are no complaints, it's not like we're in a war.

Now, about the product. Well, it's just okay... Someone even compared 4711 with Allegoria Neroli by Guerlain - 4711 is nowhere near that. It has zero longevity. Even compared to eau de colognes: Acqua di Parma lasts for a solid 2 or even 3 hours, while this water lasts for only half an hour.

You can safely skip the pyramid - it doesn't exist. There is a distinctive eau de cologne note, plus a floral-citrusy-soapy scent if you sniff the skin immediately after application. It's pleasant, but completely non-lasting. I expected more, I won't be returning to this brand.

Citrusy-floral fragrance. It starts with a bright, fresh bergamot note, followed by a hint of rose and rosemary. There is no chemical scent. All of this lasts for about five minutes. Then, there is a barely noticeable hint of neroli on the skin. It is perfect as an aftershave product but completely useless as a cologne. If I hadn't bought it in Vienna, I would have considered it a counterfeit. For aftershave purposes, it is better to purchase the lotion with the same name.

The fragrance is simply amazing. I am a fan of organic products and cosmetics (certified natural cosmetics and products). But this cologne is simply magical. Those who write about the "old-fashioned" clearly enjoy Adidas and the like. The scent of the cologne is multifaceted, in my opinion, you can smell Neroli and something else. I highly recommend it. A high-quality product.

Quite an interesting cologne. I became intrigued by the idea of purchasing it after reading about this fragrance in a book. I bought it on a whim. The scent is quite intriguing, unisex, but it may not suit all women. I perceive it differently at different times. The first time I was disappointed, it was like a triple cologne. But then I gave it a chance. For me, it's mainly citrus and some floral notes with a hint of bitterness (possibly jasmine), vetiver, patchouli, and sandalwood. I don't even notice rose or melon at all. It's quite sharp, spicy, direct, not very feminine. The longevity is not great, around 1.5-2 hours, but it's a cologne, not a perfume. The bottle is luxurious.

I ordered 25ml from the EU. I really wanted it in this cute little round bottle because there is a standard 25ml size. It's a small and adorable bottle for my collection. It's a shame it doesn't come with a box, but I'm still satisfied! Thank you. The photo didn't turn out very well.

For me, only one note has truly revealed itself, and that is neroli! The longevity of this fragrance is over 2 hours, which leaves me intrigued about what could be in a scent from 1792 and why it still exists to this day. The reason is simple - it is exquisite. I ordered it for my boyfriend because he really liked the bottle design. He loves retro designs. I was a bit disappointed that the 100ml bottle came without packaging, it doesn't look very presentable as a gift. That's why I deducted one star. I have no complaints about the makeup, the website always works flawlessly. I have been ordering here for years and I have no plans to stop. This is more of a question for the manufacturer. The cologne itself has a very strong smell in the bottle. Personally, it smells like cloves and lemon zest to me. However, after applying it to the skin, the scent immediately changes and becomes very fresh and pleasant! It's hard to compare it to any famous perfumes, it smells more like a freshly scented scrub and perfumed soap on the skin. As for the longevity of the cologne, it is excellent, it stays on the skin for several hours.

The scent is indeed fresh, but it is too tangy, especially from the initial notes. Even though I own half of the unisex perfumes with citrus and wood, this fragrance still leans more towards the masculine side because of its strong tanginess. I consider it a retro scent, as it cannot be called modern in any way. As mentioned below, it is truly a classic! Like most colognes, it is not long-lasting. After 15 minutes, you already need to sniff very closely, and after 30 minutes, I can't smell it at all.

First of all, I would like to thank the store, they did a great job. Now, let's talk about the Cologne water. Classic Cologne water. This is enough to understand this cologne. It is not long-lasting at all. The scent changes notes. It completely fades away within a couple of hours. It is fresh. The younger generation did not appreciate it. Simply a classic Cologne water in its best traditions.
