Gently polish the nail surface with a buffing block. When extending the nail, place the extension form under the nail plate. Apply a small amount of the gel with a brush and dry it under a lamp. Next, apply another layer of the gel to achieve the desired nail length, then dry again under a UV/LED lamp. Once dried, remove the extension form and shape the nail with a medium-grit file. Finally, you can apply a layer of a hybrid color polish and a protective top coat to the finished nail.
