Overall, I really liked this set. The products are of very good quality. The hydrophilic oil with a pleasant citrus scent effectively removes makeup. The only thing I don't like is the smell of the gel, it smells like cheap soap. Everything else is great. The serum absorbs quickly and the toner doesn't leave a greasy residue. The cream for my combination skin is suitable, it has a pleasant scent and doesn't leave any stickiness.
Perfect set to get acquainted with the brand and understand if it suits you or not. The series with centella is primarily designed for sensitive skin, but owners of oily skin type will also love it.
I liked the set for three reasons:
1. Excellent care when using the actives. I use strong acids and after the procedure, the products from the set quickly soothe the skin. Also, I didn't expect that the centella cream would restore the skin barrier so effectively.
2. Does not cause new inflammations in acne-prone skin. The condition of my skin improved significantly after a week of using the set: there is not a single new inflammation on the skin, and the skin itself is moisturized and started to glow after 2-3 procedures.
3. None of the products from the set leave a greasy film on the face: the hydrophilic oil has a pleasant citrus scent, the cleansing foam is very gentle and does not dry out the skin, the toner is scentless and has a watery consistency, the serum, despite its great moisturizing properties, does not have a greasy or oily texture, the gel cream is easily absorbed into the skin within 3-5 minutes maximum, leaving the skin velvety. It's also worth noting that the skin doesn't feel burdened throughout the day, and I didn't have the feeling of "something is there." In other words, I didn't feel the need to wash everything off within the first hour, as it happens with greasy creams and oily serums.
I also want to add that before this, my favorites were the series with panthenol and mushrooms from Needly. But I admit that the centella series from Skin1004 is just as good, with its effective composition, pleasant texture, and affordable price for the products :)
