Start by washing your hands thoroughly. Then, trim or file your natural nails as short as possible and gently push back the cuticles using a manicure stick. Use the pink side of the file to remove the shine from your natural nails. Next, select the appropriate size artificial nail for each finger and set them aside, preferably in order. Apply a drop of glue to the lighter part of the artificial nail. Use enough glue to ensure the nail adheres well. Place the tip on the natural nail, covering about half of it. You can remove any excess glue with a tissue. Hold in place for 5 seconds. Make sure there are no air bubbles under the nail. If there are, it's best to remove the nail and start over. Pour a small amount of acrylic liquid into a small glass bowl. It is very important never to dip the brush directly into the bottle of acrylic liquid, as this contaminates the liquid. Dip the brush into the acrylic liquid in the glass bowl, then wipe off any excess liquid on the side of the bowl. Now, dip the brush tip into the Acrylic Clear powder. Smooth the brush tip in the powder until a nice, glassy bead forms. Place the acrylic bead at the junction between the tip and your natural nail, and gently press it onto the front, sides, and back of both the natural and artificial nails. (Important: make sure the acrylic does not touch the cuticle, using the manicure stick to help if necessary). Repeat these steps until the tip and surface of the nail are fully and evenly covered with acrylic. Allow the acrylic to dry for at least 5 minutes. Tap the nail with a manicure stick to check if the acrylic has hardened; you should hear a clicking sound when it is dry. Once the acrylic is dry, file the entire surface of the nail using the coarse (blue) side of the file. Finish by smoothing the nail with the pink side of the file.
