The perfume was conceived as a reflection of the history and unique perfumery traditions of Grasse, the cradle of French perfumery. In creating the aromatic composition, perfumer Jean Claude Ellena made jasmine scent the central note.

This choice was inspired by his childhood spent in Grasse. As a child, he would gather the white porcelain jasmine flowers at dawn, and their scent was green, clear, and intoxicating. By noon, their pure white petals emitted a warm scent of orange flowers. And at night, they exuded a joyful, deep animalistic scent. This transformation of the jasmine scent, following the rhythm of the day, is reflected in the perfume.
