L'Oréal Professionnel Paris has developed Serie Expert Metal Detox to prevent hair breakage, which may be caused as a result of daily use and regular styling.
With each washing, metals contained in the water as copper, for example, penetrate the hair and contribute to its damage and breakage, including an uneven colour. I didn't understand anything... there are no negative reviews. It seems like mine will be the first. Either the batch is bad or something else is wrong, but the oil is nothing like how it is described in all the good comments. Firstly, the consistency is watery, it doesn't resemble hair oil at all. It's just some orange water with a pleasant scent, that's all. I use up to 6 drops on my long, thick, blonde hair and nothing... after drying, the hair is a bit dry and the ends get tangled, I haven't noticed any color-cleansing effect either. Although the Metal Detox shampoo from the same series manages to do this task. I am very disappointed with this oil, but I hope that it's just a bad batch and my next purchase will please me.

I wasn't too convinced of the magical properties, but I still bought the oil because I really love Metal Detox. But this is some kind of magic. I have long, porous, lightened hair that tends to frizz. After just 2 drops (a really high concentration), my hair instantly became smooth, shiny, and soft, and the honey-citrus scent is better than any perfume. I absolutely adore this product now.

The oil makes the hair greasy, even with just one application. It has a scent of oranges. I would rate it 2 out of 10, as it has been overly advertised. Perhaps the shampoo and conditioner work well together, but there is nothing better than Davines. I am still searching for a budget-friendly oil...
