I bought this comb in Moskow city and it's really cool! It's my absolute favorite.
The Macadamia Comb is the best thing that has happened to my thick, porous, wavy blonde hair that reaches below my shoulder blades.
I first bought it in England back in 2014, and over time, the comb wore out and was not available anywhere. I bought a couple of other combs, then tried a different brand, but nothing was the same. I blamed my hair, thinking that I had forgotten how to take care of them.
When I saw that the comb was back in stock at the makeup store, I was delighted and decided to buy it again, thinking that the handle would be more convenient than the other brand. The first time I combed my curls with it, I remembered why this comb is better! My hair became smoother, no longer sticking out in different directions, and the static was gone. There is less hair breakage! I recommend it to everyone!
The new comb is quite stiff (it doesn't break hair or pull), but for those who have used it before and bought it now, it changes over time, which makes sense. The new one is stiff, but it becomes much softer with use.
Today I finally received it, this is my second comb of this kind. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery despite the quarantine :)
I have a comb that I bought abroad a long time ago. It is the best comb, better than Tangle Teezers. When I saw it here for a low price, I bought it. However, it turned out to be a fake, even though it was delivered from the EU. It is much harder and it irritates the scalp. I recommend buying this comb only if you are 100% sure it is the original.
I had it for 3 years. Now I bought a Tangle Teezer and, of course, I am unpleasantly surprised. Macadamia is a hundred times softer and better. The Tangle Teezer is rigid and bad. It would have been better to buy one like this instead of spending 500 UAH on a Tangle Teezer. It's a pity you ran out of them.
I fell for the reviews. Everyone says it's better than Tangle Teezer. This comb is a nightmare!!! It doesn't comb wet hair at all, not even close, it tears them apart! It's impossible to comb wet hair with it. You can comb dry hair with it, but only if they are already untangled. Money wasted. I haven't used Tangle Teezer, but I'm afraid to imagine how it would comb if this one is supposed to be better, according to the reviews.
Excellent! We have had two before this one, and the Tingleer was much better than the previous one. It is easier to hold, doesn't slip out of the kids' hands, combs well, and most importantly, it is very gentle and doesn't harm the scalp, it untangles the hair. In short, the kids don't want to use anything else after it, and neither do I.
I really liked the brush, it effortlessly detangles hair! I used to use the Tangle Teezer, but I prefer the Macadamia one now.
This comb is excellent and I like it even more than the Tangle Teezer as it detangles better. It gently combs through wet hair. It is also comfortable to hold in your hand. I am very satisfied with it.
I have long dreamed of owning this comb, so I ordered it and it was delivered very quickly. As I opened the box, I immediately noticed the label "MADE IN CHINA," even though the website stated it was made in the USA! What a disappointment. I was quite upset, but oh well, I decided to try out this Chinese wonder. The appearance is pleasant, it doesn't squeak or feel loose, it is well made, although it's a bit uncomfortable to hold with the handle. But without it, it would be even worse. Now, onto the most important part: I have thin, long, and easily tangled hair. It's a huge problem to comb them when wet, I always need oil and end up pulling out hair. However, this comb definitely combats these issues much better than regular brushes and various expensive natural ones. But no matter what, some hair still remains on it, although three times less than before. It easily combs dry hair without any problems, it's perfect! It hardly pulls out any hair and the scalp massage is very pleasant. So, the "wow" effect I expected was not achieved, and it was further spoiled by the fact that it is Chinese. I would rate this comb 4 out of 5 stars, but I deduct 1 star for the misinformation on the website. They should correct it, as that would have made me remove all the stars! On the positive side, fast delivery, pleasant massage, nice appearance, and significantly fewer pulled out hairs, which is what I primarily expected from it.
My hairdresser recommended this comb to prevent split ends. After using it for 3 months, my hair indeed became less prone to splitting, easier to comb, and less damaged. I am eagerly waiting for it to become available again as I want to purchase it as a gift.
Overall, it's a pretty decent comb. It handled wet hair perfectly, making it feel easy and soft. However, I barely felt any head massage. There is a small but significant issue for me... it's designed for right-handed people! As a lefty, it's not comfortable to hold in my hand. It's unfortunate that manufacturers don't pay attention to this fact. They should have warned about it!
My husband bought me this comb to replace my well-worn Tangle Teezer in my bag. I used to love the Tangle Teezer and even turned it around in my hands, but I unenthusiastically put it away in a drawer. However, one day it happened to be within reach when I was getting ready to go to the pool. The Macadamia comb delicately and carefully detangled my wet hair after showering, and I realized that this was the perfect comb. Compared to it, the Tangle Teezer feels like sandpaper. The Macadamia comb gently brushes even wet hair, and not a single strand falls out. For those with fragile hair, this is simply a lifesaver.
The regular comb is decent, but I prefer and find the Tangle Teezer more appealing and affordable. However, there is one unpleasant aspect - the website states that the comb is made in the USA, but the box says China! I would appreciate receiving more reliable information when placing an order. Therefore, I am deducting 2 stars for misleading information about the manufacturer and the lower quality compared to the Tangle Teezer.
The million-dollar comb! There are two in my house - mine and my daughters'. The girls have thick, curly hair, and life is simply impossible without this comb. I would buy it again at any price :)
I have long hair, which is porous in structure and constantly frizzy and tangled. Not all combs are convenient for me to use. However, this one suited me very well. It detangles my dry hair very effectively without causing any breakage. I never use a comb on wet hair, only a wide-toothed comb. Sometimes, I even wait for my hair to dry completely before using my favorite comb to detangle it. In comparison to the Tangle Teezer (which I also own and love), this brush is softer, while the Tangle Teezer is denser and provides a stronger sensation (but doesn't scratch). Nonetheless, I am pleased with both combs and consider them a true find.
I only use this comb to brush my long hair. One day, my friend saw this comb and asked me, "How do you like it?" I replied, "It's just a comb, but I can't use any other comb after it." My friend bought it for her daughter, who also has long hair and struggles with brushing her hair before going to daycare. Some time later, I asked my friend, "Did you like the comb?" She replied, "I always remember your words: it's just a comb... but after using it, my daughter doesn't want to use any other comb." I didn't buy it from this website...
And so, I became a victim of advertising. I spent such a long time choosing between this one and the Tangle Teezer, and I chose the "frog" because of its more ergonomic shape and the presence of a handle. The disappointment was limitless: it doesn't comb wet hair, it pulls at it, it doesn't massage the scalp, it scratches it. In short, I regret even combing my hair once with this overhyped nightmare because the silicone combs I used before would comb gently but thoroughly. I do not recommend it to anyone. From this day on, I will learn to think with my head.
The comb is overall decent, but it doesn't live up to the expectations of being a "miracle" product. It retains the hair well, but the scalp massage feels pleasant.
I really liked this comb. It combs the hair well. My daughter has long hair that constantly gets tangled, but this comb handled it perfectly. I highly recommend it!
