Mix 1 teaspoon of powder with warm water to form a paste. Apply the mixture to the desired skin area that requires treatment, such as the face, neck, décolleté, hands, scalp, hair, etc. Leave it on as a mask for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. If needed, cleanse the skin with a toner and apply a nourishing cream.
To prepare a decoction: Add 1 tablespoon of powder to 500 ml of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Let it steep for 3-5 hours. Strain the liquid.
To prepare an infusion: Add 1 tablespoon of powder to 500 ml of warm water and let it sit overnight. Strain the liquid. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 2-3 days. Use it for washing, skin cleansing, or rinsing hair after washing. If necessary, apply as a compress to problem areas on the skin.
It can be used in combination with other Ayurvedic powders for enhanced effects.
I really liked the Tulsi product, however, after using it on my face along with black cumin, I developed an allergy. Since then, I have only been using it for my hair, and I really like the effect it has: volume and smoothness.
