L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Resurfacing Gel Wash For Glowy Skin with Glycolic acid is a gentle exfoliating solution designed for subtle rejuvenation. It delicately removes dead skin cells without causing irritation. The thick gel texture lathers well and gently cleanses the face. Its formula is enriched with Glycolic acid and other active ingredients, improving skin’s elasticity, hydrating, smoothing, and leaving it soft and velvety to the touch.
Benefits of L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Resurfacing Gel Wash For Glowy Skin:
- contains 3.5% Glycolic acid that penetrates the skin to stimulate collagen synthesis, enhancing skin’s firmness and elasticity;
- Salicylic acid has a powerful antibacterial effect, gently exfoliates dead skin cells, and accelerates skin regeneration;
- Aloe Vera Leaf extract has a calming effect, reducing inflammation, irritation, and redness;
- Menthol provides a pleasant cooling sensation to the face, speeds up fluid microcirculation, and reduces puffiness;
- Citric acid lightens pigmentation spots, evens out skin tone, and ensures a natural, healthy glow.-
Apply a small amount to damp face skin in the morning and evening using massaging motions, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with water. If the product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
I did not purchase it here, but in my opinion, it is very, very suitable for mature combination skin.
It removes makeup excellently, foams up excellently, and there is no sensation of tightness after washing.
I purchased this exfoliating gel based on the recommendation of an American dermatologist blogger as a budget-friendly anti-aging cleansing product. I specifically wanted glycolic acid because, in addition to exfoliation, it has the smallest molecule size among all acids, which allows it to penetrate deep into the skin and stimulate collagen synthesis. Of course, a cleanser cannot be the main anti-aging product, but it's nice to have beneficial ingredients in it as well.
Overall, I liked this product. I have combination skin, which is mostly normal with cheeks prone to dryness and the T-zone prone to oiliness. I don't have breakouts, but there are areas that tend to become red.
I use this exfoliating gel twice a week, not every day. After using it, my skin feels fresh and smooth to the touch, but there is no sensation of tightness or "squeaky clean" feeling (which is good because it means it doesn't disrupt the protective barrier).
The gel is transparent and thick. It is very economical to use; a small amount is enough. It foams well if enough water is added (it foams better in the hands and less on the facial skin).
If you apply the gel as it is, directly on damp skin, and leave it on for a few minutes, there is a stronger exfoliating and tingling effect. If you pre-foam it well in your hands and quickly rinse it off after application, it is more gentle and soft.
I don't like that it contains menthol, which causes a slight cooling effect (some people may like it). It was particularly noticeable at the beginning of use, but now my skin is used to it. If there was a formula without menthol, I would buy it. Be cautious if you have sensitivity to this component.
Also, if you have sensitive skin but still want to use active products like this one, but are afraid of irritation/flaking in sensitive areas, you can protect them with a thick layer of cream or petroleum jelly before applying the exfoliating gel. These areas are usually around the mouth, eyes, and sides of the nose.
That's it. I hope this review is helpful.
I really love products from this brand and have been using them for a long time. However, this particular face wash gel did not work for me. I don't feel any sense of freshness after using it. I prefer the face wash gel with lotus extract called "absolute freshness" much more.
