I bought perfumes based on the description. In my opinion, it smells like retirement home. It is better to test it before making a purchase!
At first, it seems interesting, but that's just for a few seconds. Then it becomes sour and soapy. If I had tested it in a store, I definitely wouldn't have bought it.
I owned a sample in 2004, and it seems that the formula has changed slightly since then. The initial notes are different, but the scent is still very recognizable, especially the heart notes which have remained the same. Of course, there is no freshness here. It is warm, sweet, and perfect for autumn and winter.

Good day! Please add to the description that the country of origin can also be Spain. The scent is very different from perfumes made in Germany. The aroma is sharp and very fresh, with no sweet note. Somewhere around 2 years ago, I bought a product in the new design from Germany, and the scent was greatly reformulated. I don't really understand if I got lucky with this batch or if they brought back the old formula, but I am very satisfied!!! By the way, the product I received is from Spain. Finally, I can feel that same beloved weekend!

I ordered a 30ml bottle, with delivery from the EU, because the illustrations for the fragrance were of the old version, while the new version is available in 50ml and 100ml sizes. The order arrived one day later than the specified date, but I was still okay with it, eagerly awaiting the coveted bottle. However, the fragrance came in a new design. It was made in Germany, not France. The top notes are similar to the classic version, but as you continue to wear it, you experience a cool, delicious, expensive, fresh-sweet scent...like an elite air freshener. Unfortunately, it's completely different. Considering the price, it's not too disappointing, but I still would have liked the preview photo to match the actual product.

The batch code on the box and bottle is identical, and the transparent film on the box didn't raise any concerns. The air seal was present. So, I am completely satisfied with both the scent and the store's service.
As for checking the batch code, only one cosmetic calculator reacted to it, indicating that my perfume is almost 17 years old (October 2004). This is unrealistic, but 2014 seems like a plausible manufacturing date. Even after this, I won't make any complaints to the store. On the contrary, I'm glad I got this old version. Great scent for hot weather, like a breath of fresh air. Throughout the day, it changes its sound, which was a pleasant surprise. It lasts differently each time. Sometimes I can smell it all day, sometimes only for a couple of hours. Another pleasant bonus was that it came in an old-style bottle.

It lasts maybe an hour, tops. The same thing happened with Versace. The only one that had good longevity was Montale, which was always known for staying on the body for days. Interestingly enough, I have used the same fragrances purchased from other stores and the longevity was much stronger...
I bought Burberry Weekend in the spring, but I am only writing a review now. I gave it a chance to reveal itself, but it didn't. Those who know the "old" version will understand me. I have the 100ml and 50ml in the old design, so I can visually compare them. The new version is a simplified version of the previous scent, with weaker longevity. It lacks that honey undertone. It is much colder, mainly dominated by hyacinth or lilac, with almost no honey notes. The manufacturer noticeably changed the formula, which is a great pity! Now I will have to search for the old design elsewhere. However, those who are unfamiliar with the scent prior to the reformulation may still like the new one as it is not bad and deserves attention on its own. But the old version was much better, richer...

The scent remains the same. Delicious and warm. The makeup team, as always, acted promptly. It is more suitable for women aged 35 and above, perfect for the autumn season.
