To begin, you need to prepare the skin on your feet. Soak your feet in warm water in a special foot bath, preferably with the addition of a disinfectant, such as hydrogen peroxide. The soaking process should last from 10 to 30 minutes. After soaking, use a foot file to gently but firmly remove rough skin. Move gradually from the edge of the foot towards the center. Avoid applying too much pressure. Any painful or uncomfortable sensations should signal you to reduce the pressure. After using the foot file, rinse your feet and place them back in the bath. Next, treat the rough areas with a coarse, then fine-grain, sanding process. Pat your feet dry with a towel, preferably one with disinfectant properties. Finally, apply a special nourishing cream.
