To begin, you need to prepare the skin on your feet. Start by soaking your feet in warm water using a special foot bath, ideally with a disinfectant such as hydrogen peroxide. Soak for about 10 to 30 minutes. After soaking, use a foot file to gently but firmly remove rough skin. Move gradually from the edge of the foot towards the center. Avoid applying excessive pressure and do not overdo it. Any painful or uncomfortable sensations should signal you to ease the pressure. Once you've finished using the foot file, rinse your feet and place them back in the foot bath. Next, treat the rough areas and then finish with a fine-grain sanding. Afterward, gently pat your feet dry with a towel, preferably a disinfecting one. Finally, apply a special nourishing cream.
