I am purchasing this product for the second time. The first one worked perfectly, sharpening pencils flawlessly. However, the second one is a complete disappointment. It fails to sharpen any pencils as the plastic part is defective, preventing the blade from touching the pencil. Instead, the pencil just spins within the plastic casing. We have attempted to fix it, but it is impossible.
I am buying it for the second time. The first one sharpens perfectly. The second one is a disappointment - it doesn't sharpen any pencils, the plastic part is defective as the blade doesn't touch the pencil, you just spin the pencil in the plastic. It cannot be repaired - we have tried.
