  • In pursuit of perfection, one must not forget the natural beauty that can be effortlessly enhanced with professional cosmetic products from the Ukrainian brand Tufi Profi. If your goal is to improve the condition of your hair, it makes sense to get acquainted with formaldehyde-free keratin. It is completely safe for health and, moreover, contains many beneficial substances.

The formula includes argan oil, which has a softening effect, aloe vera extract, known for its soothing and moisturizing properties, and other components that positively affect the hair structure, strengthen its protective barrier, and contribute to a charming shine. As a result of using Tufi Profi Keratin Treatment, hair is delicately straightened, repaired from damage, gains strength and an impressive shine. The product is not recommended for use on light hair, as it may change its shade.

    How to apply:
    1. The first step in the keratin treatment process involves washing your hair with a deep-cleaning shampoo. If your hair is fine, washing it once may suffice, but if it is thick and heavy, washing it twice is recommended. This is necessary to cleanse the hair of various impurities and styling products, as well as to help open the cuticles through which the keratin will penetrate deeply into the hair structure. Depending on the length and thickness of the hair, one procedure requires 10 to 30 ml of the shampoo.
    2. After that, towel-dry your hair and blow-dry it using a medium temperature setting until completely dry.
    3. The most crucial step is the application of keratin and its subsequent sealing. It is recommended to work in a well-ventilated area and wear a respirator to protect yourself from keratin fumes. First, divide your hair into several sections and secure them with clips, then apply keratin along the entire length of the hair strand (after shaking the bottle). When applying, keep the product about 1-1.5 cm away from the roots to maintain volume; approximately 3 cm if more volume is desired. Use a special brush to distribute the product evenly, paying more attention to the lengths and ends. Excess product can be removed with a fine-toothed comb. Attention! Do not apply keratin to the scalp. Do not over-apply the keratin; there should not be too much.
    4. Once the product is applied, comb the hair back and wait about 30 minutes. Then, without using hot air, blow-dry the hair until fully dry.
    5. Divide the hair into 3-4 areas and secure with clips.
    6. Set the straightener temperature to 230°, separate a horizontal strand no more than 1 cm thick, and process it until the steam disappears (2 to 5 passes).
    7. It is forbidden to wash your hair and do any styling, including tucking your hair behind your ears, tying it back, or using headbands, clips, and pins. This will help avoid creases. After the specified period, wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo and continue to use it with every wash to maximize the duration of the treatment's effects. Hair coloring is allowed only two weeks prior to the procedure. Afterwards, only ammonia-free dyes should be used. Also, it's not advisable to undergo the procedure right before a vacation, as seawater quickly washes keratin out of the hair.

I tried this brand before, but with formaldehyde - this one is much better. There is almost no effect after using it. Plus, the horrible smell on the hair lasted for over a week.

The keratin is not bad, of course it doesn't compare to expensive keratin, but for its price, it is very good. With perfect hair, I went for about 3-4 weeks (washing my hair with regular shampoo), then I straightened it a little with a flat iron, and even in bad weather and humidity, my hair remained smooth.

I was definitely expecting a different effect. My hair, which I diligently restored for 2 years after dyeing it black, has turned into a mop. It's frizzy along the length, lost volume at the roots, dry, breaking in the middle and at the ends. A complete failure. Two years of restoration wasted. I followed the instructions exactly. And I've done keratin treatments before, not for the first time. Previous times with different keratins were all fine.

No matter how long the result lasts, I don't think it's worth it. On the positive side, there is no strong smell of rotten eggs that is unpleasant, instead it has a vanilla/caramel-like scent. The 100ml is enough for thick hair of medium length, and it lightens the hair slightly (which is a plus for me, as it helps to remove the dye that is deeply ingrained in my hair). On the negative side, there are too many complicated steps involved, the process takes about 3 hours for my length and thickness of hair, and the keratin powder gets everywhere, staining clothes and surroundings. The main drawback is that the hair becomes stiff, tangled, and impossible to comb through. I can't bear to have my hair like this for even a day (although I thought I could), so tomorrow I will wash my hair with a sulfate-free shampoo as soon as I receive it in the mail.

I wasn't expecting a "wow" effect, but the result has lasted for 5 weeks, which has pleasantly surprised me. My hair is straight and shiny after blow-drying (although the shine has been diminishing lately, but they were dull even before using keratin). The only thing I'm not very happy about is that the keratin completely removed the reddish color (they became completely yellow), and during the three days that I had to leave the treatment on, my hair was simply unmanageable. However, it is possible that I applied too much product, as this was my first time using it.

I am very satisfied with the result. I liked that there were no formaldehyde emissions during the procedure.
