  • Henna-based tattoos are a fantastic way to see if you're ready for a permanent tattoo. By wearing a design for a few weeks, you can easily decide if you want to keep it for life. To avoid irritation, redness, or allergic reactions, it's important to purchase only high-quality henna from reputable manufacturers.

Kajal, an Indian brand, offers body henna with added safe black pigment. The product is very convenient to use, as it comes in a handy small cone-shaped tube. The design dries quickly and lasts for 10-12 days. To maintain its integrity, it is advisable to minimize contact of the tattooed area with water, creams, and clothing. Before engaging in water activities, it is recommended to wipe the area with vegetable oil. This will help preserve the tattoo in its original state for a longer period.

Instructions for use: The skin should be exfoliated and degreased. Perform an allergy test by applying the prepared paste to the inside of your elbow for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with water. If no reaction occurs within two hours, you can confidently proceed with the application. Black henna develops immediately upon drying. It is more liquid than natural brown henna. Apply the henna in a thin layer to prevent the lines from merging. You can create your own design or use a mehndi stencil. Squeeze the henna out of the tube to create your design. Approximately 30-40 minutes after application, gently remove the thin film that the henna has formed on the surface of the design.

    1. This is not natural henna; it's a dye. So, there are concerns about its hypoallergenic properties.
    2. We ordered brown, but it turned out to be maroon.
    3. No matter how thinly I tried to apply it, it runs.

Therefore, if you're looking for natural henna, this is definitely not the right choice.

The henna lasted only a few hours, even though I followed all the application instructions.

Terrible henna. The tube leaks, making it impossible to apply. The opening is too large, so the henna can't be applied in small amounts—it just pours out. Simply awful.

It has deteriorated. I bought it in the winter, and everything was fine, but now it's become very runny, spreads everywhere, and takes about 15 times longer to dry.

I didn't like this product. I can't even call it henna because it has a gel-like consistency, forms a film, and ends up looking red on the skin instead of brown. It's very difficult to remove, as the film dissolves again and stains everything around it. I used a stencil to create a design, but the result wasn't very good, even though I tried to be careful. The tube itself is convenient, but this doesn't resemble traditional henna. The mixture is uneven, coming out in clumps and then more liquid. It was hard for me to remove the stencil without smudging the design. It takes a long time to dry, even when using a hairdryer. Additionally, the henna stained my clothes for two days. If I hadn't worn a long-sleeved shirt, I would have stained all my bedding. I don't know where I could use this henna. It's been a week, and the design is still not fully developed.

I don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. This isn't henna; it's some kind of smelly, watery chemical! It's impossible to draw with because everything runs. Plus, the color isn't brown—it's red.

This is a good henna product. It's easy to apply and dries nicely. The color is not jet black but rather black with a blue tint. However, this was clear from the reviews, so I wasn't disappointed.

I’m using this henna for the second time. Two years ago, I bought the black henna, and when it dried, it stayed black on the skin but turned brown when wiped off. This time, I was unpleasantly surprised. The design turned out well, but when the paint dried, it appeared blue. Over the next few days, everything got stained—socks, pants, bedding...

I bought brown henna, but I couldn't get a thin line with it. The problem is that the design looks like I'm drawing with iodine—the color is just the same. Even if I try to wipe the line away immediately, it leaves a stain that won't come off.
