The scent is nothing like poppy, I expected a bitter sweetness with a shimmer, but all I can detect is a chemical sweetness, persistent and suffocating. A couple of sprays and a person loses their senses while everything around them withers! The longevity on the skin is aggressively expressed for about 3-4 hours (it literally takes your breath away and makes your eyes water with just one spray), then it subsides and only an unpleasant chemical candy scent, like barberries, remains (it stays until you take a shower). I still haven't figured out what to do with it after 3 years! And yes, the fragrance is one-dimensional, it simply evaporates without any playfulness.
I received this fragrance as a gift last winter. I really liked it, but initially, its longevity was not the best. However, over time, the situation changed and now I can smell it throughout the day, not just the first couple of hours like in the beginning. It is so cozy and "homely" that it would be suitable even just for home use.
Wonderful fragrance, out of all the L'erbolario products, I only kept this one. It's moderately sweet, delicious, gourmet, and I sense some strawberry in it. My loved ones also like it.
