Direct Pigment Remover - Anthocyanin Second Edition Decolor
Great toner! It effectively removed the direct dye pigment from Pro. Co Creativity, blue. I had only one coloring session on bleached hair, and it lasted for a month.
The toner has a lovely, smooth consistency, making it very easy and quick to apply. I followed the instructions: applied it to dry, shampooed hair twice without using any conditioner, put on a shower cap, and periodically heated it with a hairdryer for about 45 minutes. Then, I rinsed it out with shampoo twice and used conditioner and hair masks. The first time, most of the dye came off, leaving a subtle bluish-turquoise shade. I will definitely use it again.
The toner has a smell of burnt plastic, which lingers on the hair, but the result is more important to me. I used a little less than half of the tube for one third of my medium-length, thick hair.
It doesn't completely remove in one go, but it works quite well, about 80% for me. It's important to follow the instructions. You can repeat the procedure up to 3 times. And yes, it requires a restorative mask afterwards, just like after lightening. Any similar manipulations require additional care.
I didn't buy it here, but almost directly, but I agree with the previous comment that the remover works if the pigment hasn't gone too far.
I took a risk and tried a little bit of purple, I had about three dyeings. Actually, that was my mistake, I should have added more remover generously and performed at least two or three treatments before. As a result, the color did fade to blonde in some areas (I was lightening my hair), while in others, a dirty purple remained, which I then covered with red. Overall, it did fade a few shades, but it's better to use it on fresh dye jobs. The older and the more shades of dye, the more challenging it becomes.
After using the remover, the hair feels dry, unhappy, and lifeless, and it will take a long time to repair. This is also something to consider.
I think the remover works as it should, just without any magical effect. After all, anthocyanin dye binds very strongly, which is why it's difficult to remove.
I couldn't find the "before" photo, but here's a photo after two treatments (I didn't apply generously), there was a bright purple color.
The makeup remover didn't work for me. It claims to remove the Anthocyanin color with just one application. I have already colored my hair about 20 times, but only one color remains, except for the very dry ends that started to stretch. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything else for me.
