Shade #4 is a pure dark brown, a cool color without any purple undertones that I was hoping for(((( It works well as an eyeliner and for darkening the corner of the eye, and maybe even for a smoky evening look... It is very pigmented, with average staying power. Shade #7 looks like a light bronze metallic on me, which is quite nice. The eyeshadows are silky, but the size is very small for the price and I would prefer more complex shades...
