I bought this product based on the reviews for oily combination skin.
1. The scent is excellent, simply amazing!
2. The gel truly does a great job of mattifying and removing all dirt and oil from the face.
3. HOWEVER, it should be noted that even for oily skin in the T-zone and slightly dry cheeks, it is very drying. It's impossible to smile, and it can cause slight irritation on the nose and chin. I don't apply it to my entire face, only to specific areas, and I always follow up with a moisturizer. I would rate it 4 stars.
The gel thoroughly cleanses and leaves the facial skin matte. I liked it.
