Prepare the nail surface by filing, degreasing, and applying an ultrabond (acid-free primer) or an acid primer (if there are issues with gel polish manicure durability).
Next, apply the base coat to the nails and cure it for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or for 30 seconds under an LED lamp.
Then, apply two layers of colored gel polish, curing each layer for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or for 30 seconds under an LED lamp.
In the final step, apply the top coat and cure it for 2 to 2.5 minutes under a UV lamp or for 30 to 60 seconds under an LED lamp. If using a top coat with a sticky layer, remove the tackiness after curing with a specialized solution and a lint-free wipe.
To remove the gel polish, use a liquid specifically designed for this purpose. First, file the nails to remove the gloss from the top coat. Soak lint-free wipes in the remover, place them on the nails, and secure them with foil or clips. Leave them on for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove any remaining polish with a pusher or an orange stick.

And I have the same story. The color doesn't match. I bought number 7, which I have been using for many years as a cover. So this one is much darker. It's almost brown. I don't know if it will be suitable at all for use as a cover. Most likely not((( on the right is the old one, on the left is the one that came.
