Using a zig zag motion, wiggle mascara wand in an upwards direction, starting from the root of the lashes towards the tips. Let the mascara dry. For a more dramatic look, apply a second or third coat.

One definite plus is the formula and brush; my sensitive eyes do not suffer from it, and it lengthens my lashes. At the end of the day, it does tend to flake a bit, but it is not a major issue.
Overall, I think this mascara is good. I don't have any allergies or watery eyes from it. However, it does smudge a little towards the end of the day, although maybe if I use a primer it won't. For me, it's an 8 out of 10. I haven't tried a better natural one yet, plus it's easy to remove.
The mascara is excellent and lasts all day. The brush is very convenient.
