Overpriced and nothing special. The mascara, as usual, colors the lashes, doesn't stick together, and doesn't clump. If you have "average" quality lashes, it will accentuate them nicely. However, removing this mascara takes about three days or half a pack of cotton pads and half a bottle of makeup remover, which then causes bags under my eyes. So, what's the point? I had a green one from L'Oreal before this, it was excellent. It applies beautifully, leaves wonderful lashes, doesn't smudge or crumble, and is even better than Lancome, plus it's three times cheaper. This will be my last Lancome purchase.

My love for makeup and mascara began when I was 10 years old, and I prefer this brand, Lanco. It's difficult to determine which one is my favorite, but this one is definitely worth trying. Let's start with the visual effect. It separates and lengthens the lashes beautifully. I can actually achieve a spider leg effect if I layer it. However, I love this effect, so it's not a downside for me. With just one or two coats, it creates a natural yet doll-like look. My personal tip is that if you didn't blend your eyeshadow properly, applying 3-4 coats of this mascara will completely hide it behind your lashes.

Now, let's talk about its waterproof feature. I wouldn't say that this mascara is waterproof; it's fireproof, earthquake-proof, and probably more durable than you. If you tend to cry on the subway/at work/over tasks, I recommend getting it. Even if you fall asleep with it after a beach tantrum in the wind, you'll wake up with a smudged face, but your lashes will still be intact.

From this, the only downside of this mascara for me is that I have no idea how to completely remove it. My current routine involves rubbing it with hydrophilic oil for about 40 seconds, including using a cotton swab for targeted areas, then using an oil-based micellar water pad on top, and finally washing with a cleanser. At some point, I decided to use the waterproof version only when there's a risk of smudging my makeup. Consequently, the speed of using the mascara changed. It became apparent that the packaging dries out quite quickly, despite sufficient air insulation in the bottle. So, if you don't plan on using it daily, I suggest getting the mini size.

Good day! I am absolutely thrilled with the Lancome Lash Idole Waterproof Mascara. It is my favorite mascara that I constantly repurchase. It is incredibly long-lasting and does not smudge, so you can confidently swim in the pool without worrying. It also does not clump the lashes together. The application is easy and does not require multiple layers. It can only be removed with a dual-phase makeup remover, which works perfectly for me. However, I do not recommend using micellar water or regular water to remove this mascara.

The best mascara in my life. I had the same one, but it wasn't waterproof, so I ordered the waterproof version. Both are amazing, but the waterproof one doesn't wash off easily with just water like the regular one. It feels lightweight on the lashes. The lashes become very long and separated! No Loreal or Maybelline can compare at all. I've used both for many years, but after using this mascara, I don't want any others. I bought it on a Polish makeup website.

Awful mascara, I don't recommend it at all. This is my first luxury mascara and it's a complete disappointment. Budget mascaras from Maybelline are much better. This mascara doesn't separate the lashes and it gives the "spider legs" effect when applied. It's just a waste of money.

I see that people are commenting here, but I don't want to do that. However, I will talk about the mascara. I only use Lancome, so I can say that the waterproof Idol mascara is the first and last time for me. I will go back to the oil-based Idol. This mascara truly shows itself in a more negative way. It brings some hassle. And then, the fact that it has a good consistency and applies smoothly with a silicone brush doesn't really matter as much.

I recently tried this waterproof mascara as I was running out of my usual one and wanted to give it a go. I must say, it wears perfectly, doesn't smudge or flake throughout the day, and comes off easily with the cheapest hydrophilic oil. Additionally, I was lucky enough to find it on a great discount and purchased it for 873 UAH, for which I am always grateful to Makeup.

I think I will leave a negative review. I didn't really like this mascara. Let's start with the positives. It lengthens, separates, and is waterproof.

Now for the negatives. It is extremely waterproof, to the point where it can only be removed with a dual-phase makeup remover (which I had to buy separately), and even then, it sticks stubbornly to the lashes. And, even with the dual-phase remover, it takes some effort to remove. Honestly, this was a downside for me.

I don't know about others, but I have hooded eyelids, and after a couple of hours, it starts smudging.

When you apply it to the lash line, it's difficult to remove without smudging the eyeshadow. So, you have to be very careful.

It does not flake much, but there is some minor fallout. It can be layered, but then it will definitely start to flake. Although I can't say it constantly flakes off intensively.

Personally, I would not buy it again... but that's just my impression. I will continue searching for my perfect mascara.
