I don't know who it didn't work for, but personally, I am thrilled with it. I have sensitive skin, and not everything works for me. I didn't buy it here, but this is already my third time purchasing it. I apply it by gently massaging it, and it melts away, making it very easy to wipe off. Additionally, I use a special towel to remove any remaining residue. So far, this is my favorite.
I am very disappointed, I bought it specifically for makeup removal.
It didn't even remove my waterproof Shiseido mascara.
I'm glad I decided to buy only a sample.
I will continue my search for my makeup remover balm because this one definitely didn't work.
I bought the balm/sherbet elsewhere. I have been using it for a little over a week and overall I am satisfied. I am over 30 years old and have oily, tired, and sensitive skin. This product does not tighten or dry out my skin. It cleanses gently. I cannot comment on its makeup removing properties as I rarely use decorative cosmetics.
