What is the scalp microbiome, and why is it essential to maintain its health? It is a system of beneficial bacteria in the layers of the skin. Its violation leads to dryness, discomfort, itching, tightness and imbalance. To strengthen the microbiome and increase the protective properties of the scalp, use the Kerastase Specifique Hair Serum. The product has protective properties, eliminates dryness and reduces the risk of dandruff. It also acts as an antioxidant, prolongs youth and reduces sensitivity.

Apply once a day in the morning or before bed on the scalp for three weeks. Apply three doses to dry or towel-dried scalp, distributing it into strands. One dose = one pipette filled to the mark. Great product. I have been using it for almost a month and the hair loss has decreased, and my hair is not as oily (I have oily roots but dry ends). I wash my hair every other day, just like before, but on the second or even third day, my hair looks well-groomed and maintains its volume.
I received this serum as a gift in sample sizes. The scent is really cool, I'm impressed. It doesn't make my hair greasy, on the contrary, my hair feels silky and fresh with this serum. I am satisfied with the product and will definitely order the full-sized version.
I received samples as a gift! The scent is great - it gives off an expensive vibe and instantly reminds me of a confident woman with well-groomed hair. It blends perfectly with perfume or eau de toilette. There is no mixing of scents!

This serum is amazing, I have been using this brand for 4 years now. I have problematic scalp skin, and although this product doesn't treat seborrhea, don't expect it to, it is not a medicated line after all, it does a great job at relieving itching and redness. This serum works wonders for hair and scalp. It is easy to apply. I generally adore all Kerastase products.
However, I was disappointed with its scent. At first, I didn't like the smell. I prefer sweeter scents, but this one is more like men's cologne. But then, it seemed interesting to me, almost like a unisex fragrance. Some people might find it very pleasant. And I'll tell you more – with this serum, you don't even need perfume. This is actually my problem.
I feel this heavy scent so strongly throughout the day that it starts to give me a headache. That's why it didn't work out for me with this serum.
I don't recommend it to those who don't like unisex scents, heavy fragrances, etc.
The scalp, just like the facial skin, needs moisturization and care. I am completely satisfied with this product in every aspect: its texture, effect, and scent (by the way, even at night, I can still feel the subtlety of its pleasant aroma).
The product is interesting and effective. However, the smell is something strange to me. I prefer sweeter scents, but this one is not sweet at all. It is rather heavy. It reminds me of unisex perfumes, both masculine and feminine evening fragrances. If you expect the serum to smell delicious, then it doesn't. But the smell is a matter of personal preference. For example, I don't like the Molecule and Bacarrat perfumes. That's why everyone has different tastes and preferences.
Not bad, but you should understand that this is not medicinal cosmetics, it will not solve your problems! If the condition of your scalp does not have seborrhea, dermatitis, eczema... it will be good for maintaining skin balance and softening, but nothing more. Keep this in mind!
I treated myself to a birthday gift and bought the entire line. However, I will write my first review specifically about the serum. It is an incredible product for me!
I have seborrheic dermatitis which has worsened over the past five years due to hormonal issues. This product relieves the irritation, although not immediately noticeable, with consistent use. I wash my hair every other day, rarely every two days. So after each hair wash, I apply this product. It reduces redness, inflammation, and itching. During hot weather, my condition often exacerbates, but not with this product.
Consequently, where the dermatitis occurs, the skin recovers and the hair grows back.
It also works well with the clay shampoo from the same series.
The fragrance is unisex, similar to niche Hermes perfumes. Of course, it may not be for everyone, but I like it. If the head sweats, the scent is noticeable. So if someone has an issue with scalp odor (and there are those with smelly heads, sorry), this serum will be a huge plus for them.
Definitely an excellent rating. I will continue to purchase it in the future.
The serum is great, but the scent is very strong and sharp, making it hard to get used to. It's really not recommended to use perfume with it, as it will create an even stronger and mixed scent.
I received a 30ml miniature of this serum for testing. The scent is absolutely amazing, just like the entire Specifique line, and I really love it. It stays on my hair until the next wash. The bottle is made of glass. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn't make the hair greasy. It slightly prolongs the freshness of the hair and actually adds a little volume. There are a few major downsides, though: denatured alcohol is listed as the second ingredient. I highly doubt that people with problematic scalp skin will appreciate this. Also, personally, I find it inconvenient to use the dropper. It's difficult to draw the necessary amount up to the mark (either too much or too little). Moreover, hair falls out while massaging it into the scalp. And I also need to get used to applying it every day. I deducted stars for the alcohol being the second ingredient and the inconvenience of use, specifically for me.
The smell is excellent! I really like it!
I started using it not long ago, so it's too early to say anything about hair growth enhancement.
But one thing I can definitely say is that I haven't had dandruff this winter. And, by the way, my hair is less static.
I was not expecting to like this serum so much. For my dry and sensitive scalp, it has the same effect as a very good moisturizing face mask. I feel refreshed all day long. It gets rid of tightness and dryness. When applied, it gives a slight cooling sensation, so it will be especially pleasant to use in the summer. My hair looks more vibrant. It has more shine and volume. The serum is thick and gel-like, but it does not make my hair sticky or greasy. It absorbs well and has an exceptionally pleasant scent. The only thing is that I needed 3 pipettes for my entire head. I had to apply more.
After giving birth, the skin on my face and head became very dry. Plus, I recently had COVID. It was a double whammy. Even an extremely dry area, which caused discomfort, was soothed by this serum. It significantly reduced dryness and itching.

I have been testing the POTENTIALISTE serum for almost 3 weeks now, using it daily. The effect was noticeable from the first days. After wearing a hat, my scalp was not in the best condition, but after using the serum, the itching subsided, my skin became moisturized, and I felt more comfortable. It is easy to apply and convenient to use thanks to the pipette. It is also economical, as 2-3 pipettes are enough for my whole scalp. The gel-like texture is pleasant. Magic for sensitive scalp. I use Dermocalm shampoo and Blonde Absolute mask/conditioner for blondes in my hair care routine. But this serum works wonders on the skin. Kerastase never ceases to amaze! I received this serum for testing and I am very satisfied! Firstly, the packaging is convenient - the product is applied directly to the scalp with a pipette (no need for an additional sponge or to get your hands dirty, which reduces unnecessary waste). Secondly, the serum does not affect the frequency of hair washing (I thought I would have to wash my hair every day) and it does not cause dandruff. Thirdly, the result is amazing - no more itchy scalp (which I used to have from shampoo), my hair has become obedient and "alive", and as an additional bonus - the smell is fantastic! I am using an interesting new product for scalp care called Potentialiste. The serum is applied with a convenient applicator. Since I have thick hair, three drops are enough to distribute it evenly on my scalp. The product has a pleasant scent, reminiscent of natural and healing aromas, which I really like. The sensation of the serum upon application is neutral. It has a consistency similar to a medium-thick gel, neither too dense nor too liquid, and it applies optimally. After applying, I gently massage it into my scalp with my fingertips. It does not make my hair greasy and provides a comfortable feeling for the scalp, without causing dryness. I highly recommend trying this additional scalp care product.

I have dry hair and a dry scalp. I wash them every 5-7 days. And often after washing, I feel tightness and even itching. It's been a week now since I started using this serum, and I couldn't be happier. I guess I found my solution! My skin feels like it can breathe, and my hair at the roots has come alive, becoming more nourished, denser, and more resilient. Volume and shine have appeared as well. The sensations are very pleasant, with a fresh feeling and no itching. I didn't even expect this serum to solve my problem and eliminate the constant discomfort so quickly.
