This hair cleansing clay mask is superb. It has a very small consumption rate and lathers up very well.
The mask is simply amazing, my favorite! It cleanses very effectively, foams up nicely, and has a small consumption rate. Unlike the Davines detox mask, it is not aggressive and does not damage the hair. I use Kerastase twice a week, once is not enough for me.
I didn't notice any effect from the mask. The smell is pleasant and it foams well. I use it once a week, following the instructions (although the instructions attached to the jar are not for this product). After using it, my hair feels a bit stiff, so I also use a conditioner. However, it doesn't keep my hair fresh - by the second day, my hair looks like it's been washed with regular shampoo. It's not worth the money.
At first, I didn't understand the "point" of this mask when I applied it for a few minutes after double shampooing my scalp. The result was dry skin, dandruff, and itching. I repeated this process several times with a few weeks in between, but eventually gave up.
However, recently I decided to try it INSTEAD of shampoo, even when my hair hadn't been washed for 3-4 days (meaning it was greasy - terrible!). That's when it worked wonders. I applied it to the roots, emulsified it with water, and massaged my scalp.
And, oh miracle! After this treatment, my skin no longer itches and my hair stays clean a bit longer than usual. The root area feels really pleasant after drying.
However, this mask dries out the length of my hair. It's clay after all! So, after rinsing off this mask from the roots, I always apply conditioner or a mask for the length.
From the positives, there is a pleasant coolness on the scalp after use. However, in reality, the next day, the scalp becomes dirty again and you feel the urge to wash it. The downside is that it dries out the hair when it comes into contact with the length during rinsing, leaving the hair feeling straw-like afterwards.
Incredible product! It's worth trying! It cleanses the hair thoroughly, leaving it shiny and voluminous after drying. (Don't forget to use the conditioner or hair mask on the ends.) Thank you, L'Oréal and makeup for salon-quality care at home!
