The mascara is wonderful. It lengthens and volumizes the lashes, and it's waterproof. It can be removed with a dual-phase makeup remover.

The mascara doesn't clump or flake. I really like it. It easily washes off with a two-phase makeup remover (I use Nivea). The only thing I didn't like is that it wasn't packaged. It's unclear whether it was opened before or not. That's not pleasant.

All previous mascaras left marks on the lower eyelid and often smudged by the end of the day. Based on the reviews, I decided to try a waterproof mascara and chose this one. I liked it, and I recommend it! It beautifully lengthens the lashes and stays on all day. It cannot be removed with regular micellar water, so when buying this mascara, make sure to also get a two-phase micellar water. The expiration dates are fine. The only thing I didn't like is that the mascara came without proper factory-sealed packaging - the film. Although it is sold like this in stores.

This is a decent mascara that has its pros and cons. The pros are: it is very waterproof (even when crying, the mascara stays in place), it does not crumble or smudge, it has a convenient brush, it curls and coats the lashes nicely, and it adds length to the lashes. The density is average.

The cons are: its waterproofness (it takes a lot of effort and special products to remove it), it dries quickly (around 3 weeks), and although it does not smudge, after lunch I could feel my eyes starting to burn and the lashes feeling heavy.

The lifespan of this mascara for me is two months, then I need to buy a new one (this is, as far as I know, a recommendation for all mascaras).

So, Nivea's two-phase micellar water removes it in just seconds without any rubbing or suffering. Honest review of this mascara

If you are looking for volume, I do not recommend this mascara. It separates and lengthens nicely but lacks in the volume department. However, it stays on well, does not smudge, and is difficult to remove.

Has Maybelline changed their formula or something? Because this mascara arrived as if it had been used for a couple of months already. No packaging or seal - okay, I understand that's the manufacturer's fault. But the consistency is very... dry. I didn't feel at all that this was a new mascara. I compared it to the Loreal one that I've been using for 4 months, and the effect from Loreal is better (by effect I mean how much it lengthens the lashes, how "easy" it applies, and the pigmentation). In short, I'm disappointed :(

Nonetheless, having a waterproof mascara in your makeup bag is always handy, especially during the summer or even in winter, as regular mascara from Maybelline tends to leave marks on the eyebrows when it rains or in high humidity conditions.
