Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques - you can try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents or folds in the cup, it hasn’t fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a seal. Once it's in place, try tugging slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
