Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try various ones to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to open up inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will pop open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been placed correctly. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or indentations, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully installed!
