Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques - you can try various methods and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. The cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (avoiding the stem) and try to twist it to create a suction seal. Once in place, lightly tug on the stem - if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully inserted!
