It's a good thing I didn't read the comments before purchasing))) It has an incredible scent... kind of a retro feel (to my nose), but so pleasant. For me, the dominant note here is Lily, which for some reason smelled like lilacs from the beginning of application. I never liked Lily in fragrances, but thanks to this scent, I fell in love.
Very cheap scent. Smells like a Soviet men's hair salon.
During the first test, I was completely amazed. How can something be worn like this? It gave me a couple of weeks of peace with its scent... And then the magic happened... I closed my eyes, took a breath... And found myself in snowy mountains... The freezing, pure air. A small wooden house... The hostess takes off a freshly washed linen tablecloth from the clothesline, brings it inside, and places it on the wooden table. The aroma of damp, clean fabric mixed with field herbs... The beauty is indescribable.
I purchased this product accidentally, without testing it beforehand, and I do not regret it. I love such fragrances that make you feel like you are holding a strand of wild field grass in your fingers. It reminds me a lot of Chanel 19. The longevity is incredible. Thank you Makeup for the very decent gift with this purchase.
Favorite perfume...forever.
Great classic fragrance as it is, fresh and crystal-clear, in our reality, perfectly unisex. It is appropriate always and everywhere, whether you like it or, on the contrary, don't like Chanel No. 5 - try White Linen. It unfolds slowly, in the beginning I can smell lemon and a little unripe peach-apricot, then my nose catches the solo of hyacinth. And if you disregard all of this, you won't be able to figure out what it smells like, you have to try it!! It's a kind of a collective image of spring flowers, vibrant and clean. I like it!
I am disappointed with the scent, it is completely different from the White Linen freight scent. I will no longer be ordering perfumes from make up.
I would like to add to the previous comment that the perfume has settled and sounds different now. It lasts for 5-6 hours. The only thing is that the scent is very intense, so you need to apply it sparingly. I recommend, once again, that you should test it out.
As always, I bought it based on the description. Overall, it's not bad, but the lasting power is average. I'm not entirely sure about the scent, there's a note that doesn't sound pleasant to me from beginning to end. I'll put it aside for now, maybe it will grow on me. I recommend testing it out.
Excellent vintage scent. I don't understand why it's not chypre, there is oakmoss, there is soapiness, there is development. If you immediately evaluate the fragrance, it will be "triple cologne," you need to wait for a couple of days for it to settle and breathe. I currently have vintage White Linen in miniature and I bought it here. So there are few differences, vintage sits closer to the skin and slightly more matured, but it seems less synthetic, more natural. Well, that's psychology, in my opinion. All these are chemical molecules, extracts, and so on, there is nothing scary here. I like the new version of the fragrance much more. At first, it's like expensive soap, opening with cloves and white floral notes. Pleasant lily of the valley, it sounds vintage, but this is one of the most beautiful ones I've heard. Hyacinth is laid for a long time. Mood: aristocratic perfume, walking in a linen dress in your Park Avenue apartment, watering your houseplants)) I like it, it's in its own style, you definitely need to love vintage.
