Vivian Gray Vivanel Grapefruit & Vetiver Eau de Toilette (mini size)

I checked the reviews and realized I last bought this perfume in 2021. The scent is still as fresh and pleasant as ever. However, it seems like its longevity has improved. I can apply it in the evening, go to a meeting, take a shower at home, and still notice the fragrance the next morning.

The scent is great, featuring a non-sweet grapefruit aroma. I deducted a star because it's extremely fleeting. I understand that citrus scents are typically not long-lasting, but this was advertised as an EDT. If it were marketed as a cologne, I would have rated it a 5. The bottle unscrews very easily, which is something to keep in mind. Mine arrived empty, but I am considering purchasing the full size, so it's not a major issue.

Fantastic fragrance! I ordered it blindly, relying on my love for vetiver and imagining its blend with grapefruit. It turned out just as I envisioned! Initially, the grapefruit hits you strongly with its fresh, very natural scent, but it's not your typical citrus. Gradually, vetiver takes the lead, making it perfect for anyone who loves it. The fragrance is very unobtrusive, with nothing excessive—just freshness and a hint of tartness, without sweetness, woodiness, powderiness, or the heaviness of complex luxury perfumes. It's a scent for minimalists, ideal for spring and summer.

This fragrance is delightful and light, perfect for the warmer months! It opens with vibrant citrus notes, featuring grapefruit, orange, and lemon oils, which then transition into a dry, slightly salty vetiver. I love it and agree with Tatiana’s previous review that it’s a great choice for physical activity and complements a sporty look. It doesn’t turn overly synthetic in the heat, making it ideal for a seaside getaway!

It reminds me of summer, but the scent isn't very strong, at least to me. Maybe it's just my sense of smell...

The scent has a slightly bitter and sharp edge. At first, it feels like menthol with a cooling effect, but after a few seconds, it resembles tea tree oil. However, after a minute, you realize it’s actually a green, somewhat bitter aroma that reminds you of something from childhood. It's exactly the scent I was looking for and I really like it. As others have mentioned, it does have a slight resemblance to the smell of dill!

The scent doesn't have any menthol or sharpness; instead, it's sweet with a distinct sugary note that lingers throughout. You can detect vetiver, but hardly any grapefruit. I expected the fragrance to be fresh rather than sweet. I'm glad I didn't buy a full bottle without trying it first.
