The thing is, it doesn't make sense to use it in the summer because it clogs pores. It feels like I've smeared margarine on my face and it doesn't breathe at all. In the fall, it seems okay, but there is no cumulative effect. You wash your face and that's it; your skin is dry and saggy. I'm turning 30 next week and it doesn't smooth out my fine wrinkles. Now it's winter and I apply an emulsion made from grape stem cells underneath, and only then does my face moisturize. Without it, this serum doesn't moisturize. Of course, people will accuse me of not applying something underneath and on top. However, my skin rarely tolerates wearing 2 products, only in winter. In all other cases, my skin suffocates and sweats. It was convenient to have this product so that I didn't have to worry as a busy mom on maternity leave; I could just quickly apply it and go. But it was bought for this purpose and it didn't live up to expectations. There are cheaper products here that work better. For example, the Aquilan cream for 200 UAH and Korean serums for around 300 UAH. I'm writing all this just so that you try before buying and don't get carried away by the promises of even very good bloggers.

This is an essence, which is NOT a serum, NOT an emulsion, NOT a cream, and NOT a mask. It does not make sense to compare it to them or substitute them with it, as it will not lead to good results on your face. In Korean skincare, each product has its own place and purpose. If you take a sentence and rearrange the words randomly or leave out a part, the essence will lose its essence, just as the skin will not understand what you want from it when you use something incomplete. This specifically applies to the 5-step Korean skincare routine.

The essence is applied AFTER the toner and BEFORE the serum, which is sealed with an emulsion if you want a boost, and then the emulsion is followed by a cream. If you have a non-rinseable night mask, it goes on top of the cream according to the list. Properly chosen skincare will not overload the skin. It is also impossible to overmoisturize it; there is no limit to perfection. Apply the products with a one-minute interval to allow the previous one to absorb.

I have mixed feelings about this product. Even on my super dry skin, it feels oily and takes time to absorb. However, I didn't notice any effects when applying it step by step. I can't use it in the morning because it would take half a day to complete the whole ritual. So, I use it in the evening and follow this routine: I apply my entire skincare routine - toner, serum, and emulsion - at 6-7 in the evening, and then, after an hour, when my skin is well-prepared, I apply this essence. After about half an hour, when it has absorbed somewhat, I apply the Hada Labo emulsion on top. That's when I see results in the morning - the fine lines are less visible and my skin feels firmer.

After a long winter, my dry skin became even more dehydrated. This product brought life back to my face. It eliminated flakiness and even provided a slight lifting effect. It weighs 34g. In my case, it doesn't form a film since I apply the same series cream on top. During the first week, there was a slight tingling sensation, but it went away. All the flakiness disappeared.
