And that means one thing: increased hydration promotes suppleness and elasticity. As a result, you will appear younger and more radiant. Don’t be surprised if it becomes a staple in your beauty kit.
Benefits of The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum:
- suitable for all skin types;
- has a lightweight formula;
- replenishes skin’s hydration levels;
- ceramides and pro-vitamin B5 help to keep moisture locked in;
- minimizes the look of fine dry lines;
- rapidly absorbed, with no tacky residue.-
Morning and evening, apply a small amount of serum to thoroughly cleansed face and neck. Use emulsion, cream or night mask afterwards.

I didn't buy it here, but the serum is excellent. The main thing is to apply it to damp skin (I applied kombucha first and then immediately the serum) and it works wonders. (Although for a while I mistakenly applied it to dry skin, it was sticky and then absorbed very quickly, after which my skin became very dry). Of course, you won't have a wow effect, but additional moisturization won't hurt.
The serum is pleasing, although it is slightly sticky. However, I apply cream on top and the stickiness disappears. I use it in combination with a red peeling and the line of Korean cosmetics from dr.ceuracle. My skin has improved, it is smooth, radiant, and redness has reduced, with no new breakouts appearing. The combination of these products has been beneficial for my skin.
I didn't buy it here, but I decided to leave a review. This serum is very strange. Yes, it feels sticky, but I just apply cream on top of it. However, it immediately rolls off like fine sand on my face. I don't understand at all what this is related to and why it suits someone very well, while others don't like it at all.
I have dry skin, and this is the best serum I have used so far! I use it with The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors cream. This combination not only moisturizes the skin but also prevents acne formation. However, results may vary for each individual.
The serum might be decent, but it tends to clump and stick.
I purchased this product on April 28th. At first, I didn't like the serum for some reason. It dried out my skin even after applying cream. The foundation didn't blend well. I have combination skin (40 years old). However, a couple of days ago (in July), I decided to give it a second chance. And it behaved differently. Maybe after the cold weather, my skin was very dry (or maybe because I changed my entire skincare routine), but overall, I now like the serum. It noticeably tightens the skin. I apply SPF (I have 50) with light touches after rubbing it in my palms. And then nothing rolls off. So, give it a second chance after some time. Who knows!
My review - this thing is amazing! I read the comments, maybe you're using it wrong? If you apply too much of it, it will indeed feel sticky. Here's how I use it: after washing my face with the Ritual toner from Relance and applying serum on top of it, it absorbs very quickly. Then I apply the moisturizing factor. I am very satisfied with the result. My skin looks fresh, healthy, firm, and feels soft and pleasant to the touch.
I must say, I am not impressed with this serum. I was looking for a product to use before applying a deeply moisturizing cream for my dry facial skin. Unfortunately, I did not achieve the desired results with this serum. Additionally, if I apply the Cerave cream with SPF on top, everything just slides off afterwards. Therefore, I still use this serum, but only with a very light cream. I definitely won't be ordering it again and will continue searching for something more effective for moisturizing.
The serum is not bad for its price. I am satisfied with it.
The serum is not bad, but it leaves a sticky feeling. I bought it from Skinbar with guaibronka, and surprisingly, it turned out to be better.
I absolutely love this serum. It is exactly what I expected for the price.
I didn't like it. The sticky, odorless liquid forms a film on the face, and after a few days of use, isolated pimples appeared...
Great item. Very effective, I recommend it to everyone!
Great serum! I've been using it for a few months now (bought it here or ordered it from Poland). One bottle lasts about 1.5-2 months (4 drops on the face, once a day). I use it after acids and seal it with a hyaluronic acid cream from the same brand. It absorbs quickly, may feel slightly sticky, but it's fine for the night, and with the cream, it's perfect.
I have combination skin prone to comedones, and it's a challenge to find the right skincare products - I could cover half the country with those creams. But this product is a perfect fit.
An added bonus is that this cosmetic has no scent.
I didn't like it. It is a sticky liquid that dries instantly and leaves a film... I have used this brand in Europe, and in my opinion, this product is very different.
I have sensitive and combination skin. It moisturizes very well, and I apply cream on top. I apply it on damp face. I definitely recommend it.
I used it for dry sensitive skin, after toner and before moisturizer. It didn't cause any irritation, and my skin felt comfortable. I can't say much more. There was no "wow" effect, but it depends on what to expect :) Maybe I will repurchase it someday.
I really liked this product, I tried it for the first time. I have oily skin, and the serum absorbs quickly and even provides a slight lifting effect. The consistency is thick, and it should be applied by patting motions (not rubbing to avoid foaming!). It leaves a sticky finish, BUT it is completely unnoticeable after applying the cream. There are no clumps or rolling, maybe some girls didn't let the product absorb properly, that's why they experienced such an effect. I use it both during the day and at night. I will definitely repurchase it.
I have dry, sensitive skin that is prone to redness. I used this serum together with the Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA moisturizer according to the basic recipes from The Ordinary. I didn't see any significant results in two weeks. However, the consistency of the serum is good and it absorbs quickly.
Excellent. I've been buying it for the fourth time.
I find the serum to be a perfect fit with the toner, cream, SPF cream, and even with makeup sometimes. I really like it because my skin feels smooth and moisturized. In my opinion, if you have any issues with the product (not with your skin after using it), then there might be something wrong with your overall skincare routine.
This is the worst serum ever. It clumps up into flakes under any product. Terrible!
I am really enjoying it right now, it's definitely not just water. Serums are an interesting thing, sometimes everyone writes that they are super, but for me, they are like water, no effect at all. But here, right from the start, I can see that I have applied something.)
I only use the serum in the evening (it's not suitable for under makeup), after applying it, I immediately spray my face with thermal water and then apply moisturizer after 5-10 minutes.
Everything is great! It doesn't tighten or stick (after it dries with the thermal water, of course), and it doesn't roll off.
I'm 39 and I can see the effect! I've also started doing facebuilding exercises, and I'm seeing good results in combination with this serum!
I'm really disappointed that it didn't work for me. The oily formula caused me to break out, indicating that it's comedogenic. I have combination skin and didn't notice any improvements.
For best results, apply the serum to damp skin - it absorbs well and doesn't roll off.
I have combination skin that tends to be dry, and I am over 35 years old. The serum is thick and oily, so it spreads easily on my face. Three drops are too much for my not-so-small face, so I use less. I apply it at night after using a toner and seal it with a moisturizer once it is absorbed. The result is that the deep wrinkle on my forehead has almost disappeared, and my skin feels firm and hydrated. The only downside is that it tends to pill on me, so I can't wear it under makeup during the day because I can feel the serum.
Honestly, I was so afraid to buy this product because there were so many reviews saying that the serum tends to roll off. But I have no issues with that at all. Let me repeat, I apply three drops and gently press it into my skin. This serum is amazing. It provides superb hydration.
The translation of "Скатывается" into English is "Rolling down." However, without any context or additional information, it is difficult to provide a coherent and meaningful translation. Could you please provide more context or specify the product being reviewed?
The serum seems decent, it tightens the skin well and pairs perfectly with a moisturizing cream. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it causes a slight reaction for me - small pimples appear sporadically. It's a pity, but I'll have to give it to one of my friends.
This serum is amazing, as it moisturizes the skin on the face and provides a noticeable lifting effect. Upon application, it feels a bit sticky, but this stickiness quickly disappears once the serum is absorbed. I apply it after washing my face and before my day cream.
Disappointment... although I like other serums from this brand.
I really liked it, I recommend it.
It didn't evoke any special emotions! I didn't notice a "wow" effect either! But I can't say anything bad about it either, there were no breakouts after using it, but it did slip a bit through my hands.
I have combination skin that is 25+. I have been using this serum for 4 days and have tried it with both a cream and a mask. I really like it. It feels sticky for the first 5-7 minutes and tightens because it contains real hyaluronic acid. If you haven't experienced this before, congratulations on getting a real hyaluronic acid product. It's too early to say anything about the results, but I haven't had any breakouts or discomfort from it.
After using the serum, the sensations are unpleasant. It tightens and dries out the skin excessively! Even after applying the cream, the skin remains tight! It is not suitable for makeup... only for night use... I don't understand the enthusiastic reviews! The prices for all The Ordinary products on the website are inflated!
I really like this serum, I have ordered it twice already. After applying it to my face, a thin film appears (I'm not an expert, but I suppose that's what is expected, right?), and then I apply my cream on top of it. I'm satisfied with the results, my skin tone becomes more even and it moisturizes my skin. Sometimes, I also use it under alginate masks. It has a small consumption, so it lasts me a long time. I will definitely order it again.
This product moisturizes mildly but evens out the skin. However, it is not suitable for me under makeup as it tends to roll off underneath the foundation.
I don't know what happened with this serum, whether the manufacturer changed the formula or it was just this batch, but this time it didn't work for me.
I ordered the first bottle back in May. It suited me perfectly, absorbed well, and moisturized excellently.
I decided to order it again. I've been using it for the second week now, and it's a disaster. The serum doesn't fully absorb, it remains on my face as a film that later flakes off. It looks like peeling, which I don't normally have. So, it's specifically the dried serum that is peeling off.
I'm disappointed because I really loved this brand. I can no longer recommend it.
Visually, I haven't noticed anything yet, but in terms of sensations, the serum feels better than without it. It doesn't tighten my skin, but I still apply cream on top. By the way, I found it a hundred cheaper after purchasing.
The advertising of this brand turned out to be the only good thing about it. After a month of use, it didn't suit me at all. I have normal skin that tends to be oily. As a result, after a month, it looked much worse than before, with some roughness and wrinkles appearing. Before this, I used creams and serums from Gade. I used this serum in combination with a water-based cream (I will write a separate review about it). Overall, it's not worth the money.
I purchased this serum together with the brand's cream. I have EXTREMELY dry skin. The serum is sticky, but it absorbs quickly. I applied the cream on top, and the effect was absolutely amazing. My skin feels moisturized and not tight.
At first, I didn't understand this serum. It was thick, and when I applied it to my face, it felt sticky and didn't absorb well. But then I followed the instructions and applied it over my cream - and it worked great! When I use it at night, I wake up without any swelling, even though many people say that hyaluronic acid can cause it. But for me, everything is fine. In the morning, it absorbs well under my cream. I have combination skin that is prone to allergies and irritations, but this serum works perfectly for me. It doesn't have any scent, which is also very important to me and is characteristic of a professional product. I highly recommend it!
I really liked the serum! I was afraid it would roll off, as some people say, but if you apply it by patting, everything works perfectly! It moisturizes really well!
With this serum, I completely forgot about flakiness. My skin is combination, sensitive, and prone to dryness. After 2 months of use (once a day after toner and before night cream), the texture of my skin has become smoother and more even. I will now try the other serums from The Ordinary.
Magic!
After two weeks of use, I completely forgot about dry skin!
The key is not to rub it in, but to gently pat it onto the face. It absorbs very quickly!
It doesn't tighten and hardly has any smell.
This is a really cool thing. Those who say it's sticky - of course, it's sticky, it's hyaluronic acid after all. They're all like that for the most part. Apply your daily cream on top and everything will be fine. Otherwise, it will dry out your skin. (Hyaluronic acid doesn't care where it pulls moisture from, whether it's from the cream or your skin). And it does its job perfectly. Pleasant price.
Overall, this product is absolutely disappointing. It is sticky and unpleasant, offering zero benefits for my dry skin.
I have been wanting to try products from this company for a long time, and I wanted to share my impression of this serum, which has mostly positive reviews. After washing my face, I apply the serum, followed by the gel fluid and then the cream. All of the products are moisturizing. I have been using the serum for a week now, and the result is nothing, no changes whatsoever. So, if you already have a skincare routine that works for you, there's no need to bother with this serum.
I specifically purchased this product to use with my cream. I tried applying it on both moisturized and dry skin, but no matter what I applied on top of the serum, it all rolled off. I even tried using two different creams and oil, but the result was the same. Perhaps someone can offer some advice to help me.
