Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try several and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. Once in place, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
