Apply a small amount of soap to damp skin. Massage in circular motions to lather, then rinse with water.
I liked the consistency of the soap - it lathers up softly and doesn't dry out the skin. However, it is not lavender scented as one might expect, because it contains cedar oil, sandalwood, and lavender. The smell reminded me more of a Soviet cologne called "SHIPR". I won't be purchasing it again solely because of the scent.
The scent is so natural and fresh that it makes you want to keep washing yourself over and over again. The first impression of the soap being slightly yellowish confirmed the presence of natural components. For those who constantly suffer from allergies, like myself, I think it's a good option. And also for those who want to have the lingering scent of lavender on their body long after showering...
