Though there is no immediate toning effect from the first use, with continuous use, it consistently tones the hair, removes yellowing, does not dry it out, lathers very well, and does not tangle the hair. The shampoo doesn't tone at all, not even a bit, even if you leave it on your hair for 5 minutes. It lathers well and doesn't dry out the hair like other toning shampoos, but it has zero effect.
This shampoo is really good, it's just as good as expensive ones. It toned my blonde hair perfectly from the first use, evenly and without any yellow tint. My hair doesn't feel dry either.
